Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Tidan's Realm VI ("the Game", "we") collects when you use this website and play the Game, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Account information. Your username, a hashed form of your password (we never store your password in plain text), and your in-game display name.
• Gameplay data. Characters, inventories, progress, guild membership, and similar data required to operate the Game.
• Purchase records. When you buy something, we store which account bought which item, the price, timestamps, and Stripe's reference IDs for the transaction. We keep these records to deliver your purchase, handle refunds, and meet bookkeeping obligations.
• IP addresses. Used for login rate limiting and abuse prevention.
• Problem reports you choose to send. When the Game offers to report a problem and you press Report, we receive the game's log of that session, the Game's version, and your account ID if you are signed in. We use them only to find and fix bugs, and delete them after 30 days. Copies can remain in our database backups until those backups are deleted.
• Session cookies. One essential cookie (wm_session) keeps you logged in to this website. When you sign in with Tidan Games, a second one (wm_external) holds the answer from account.tidangames.com for 10 minutes at most. We use no advertising or analytics cookies and no third-party trackers.

Signing in with Tidan Games

You can sign in to this website with a Tidan Games account, which you make at account.tidangames.com with Google. That account, and what it gets from Google, is covered by the Tidan Games privacy policy. We never see your Google password.

When you sign in this way, account.tidangames.com sends this website your Tidan Games account ID, name, email address and whether that email is verified. When you link it to your Arcana game account, we store:

• your Tidan Games account ID and your game account ID, so either sign-in opens the same game account;
• your game account name;
• a copy of your Tidan Games name and email, updated each time you sign in and shown on your Account page;
• the date you linked them.

Press Unlink on your Account page to delete this link at any time. Your game account stays as it is.

Payments

All payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number, bank details, and billing address go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy. From Stripe we receive only a confirmation of payment and its transaction identifiers.

What we don't do

• We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
• We do not run third-party advertising or analytics on this site.
• We do not share your information except with Stripe (to process payments) or where the law requires it.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. Purchase and refund records may be retained longer where required for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal compliance. To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, contact us at the address below; we will action requests within 30 days, except for records we are legally required to keep.

Children

The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change with it. Significant changes will be announced in-game or on this website.
